ReplyDeleteGood day internet people.
ReplyDeleteI just got my 30Mbps internet connection and I found this site to test out my internet speed. I downloaded each file 5 times and these are my average results :-
100kB in <1 sec, (obviously)
1MB in <4 sec at approx. 3.310MBps,
10MB in 7.5 sec at approx. 3.138MBps,
100MB in 35 sec at approx. 3.205MBps,
1GB in 6 min 30 sec at approx. 3.344MBps,
5GB in 26 min 35 sec at approx. 3.243MBps, and
10GB in 52 min 37 sec at approx. 3.571MBps.
So if you get a faster results with a download speed ranging from 3 - 4MBps, your internet connection is VERY GOOD. However, if you get way slower results, 1.5 - 2.5MBps you might have a bad port, your ISP is messing/cheating you or someone's downloading something simultaneously.
*These test were made by LAN, very close proximity to the router, no other devices are connected to the router through LAN/Wifi, whereas the router is the default ones received from my ISP.*
i have required 2mb,500kb,5mb,200kb file size
